Special section on new neuroimaging and clinical research
Neuroimaging is a booming research area at the moment, from micro to macro, from physics
to technology, from basic research to clinical application. Advanced neuroimaging technology
allows the structure or function of a neurological examination to be a visible presentation, in
which a neurological disorder can be deeply investigated. The goal of this special section is
to present a snapshot of the state‐of‐the‐science methods for incorporating neuroimaging into
translational research. This includes, but is not limited to, the following topics with specific
emphasis on the neuroimaging:
• Neuroradiology
• CT
• EEG
• MRI
• MEG
• Neurosonology
• PET
• SPECT
• Angiography
• Other
